How Does KallKatcher Work?
KallKatcher determines if the caller is a human, by asking a simple question (which is asked in the first few seconds of the call).
If they pass the test, the person is human, and the call is returned to you (caller remains on call). KallKatcher will ONLY call you when this happens, and ONLY when this happens (we never phone or text otherwise!). After the call, we text you the phone number that you originally called.
What Happens to the Call?
After three rings, the phone will continue to ring until Kall Katcher answers with a voice captcha, thwarting spammers.
NOTE: To silence your phone, press the lock button (aka home or power on)
Spam Test Passes
When Kall Katcher service detects an incoming call, a voice captcha is applied to the caller. The caller must successfully pass the captcha to proceed. If they do, Kall Katcher immediately returns the call back to your cell phone. You can confidently answer this call, as the caller id is Kall Katcher indicating it has been screened for your safety.
Spam Test Fails
We always text the results of the service. Caller will either hang up (failing the spam filter test), or they will leave a voice mail. Hate calling in for Voice Mail? Kall Katcher will send you a transcription of the start of the call, and send you a link to an audio recording of the call. No more calling in for Voice Mail!
